Q.
When should I have my groomsmen get measured?
A. Ideally, we'd like to have all the measurements in our possession at least 4 weeks before the wedding. Some popular styles sometimes get sold out for a particular weekend, therefore the sooner, the better your chances for ensuring the tuxedo you want is available for that weekend.
Q.
I have some groomsmen who live in other states / other countries. How should I get them measured?
A. We'll provide you with a form to send to your groomsmen with complete instructions. There are approximately 10 basic measurements that we need. Most tuxedo shops and tailors will gladly take basic tuxedo measurements for free or for a nominal fee.
Q.
What if the a tuxedo doesn't fit upon pickup?
A. We have a full-scale tailor shop on premises to take care of any last minute adjustments. If your wedding party is out of state, we will arrange a local dry cleaner or tuxedo shop from our network of over 5,000 affiliates to take care of any last minute adjustments.
Q.
I am the groom. Will it make a huge difference if I buy or rent?
A. Purchasing a tuxedo will give you the best possible fit since the tuxedo can be altered to your exact specifications. Tuxedo rentals come in even sizes, and can only be altered on the sleeves, waist, and slacks length. If you are looking for a picture-perfect fit, purchasing is the best option.
